Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking or attending any therapy session with Healing with Attia. By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About the Service
Healing with Attia provides individual and couples therapy, counseling, and mental health support online via Zoom and WhatsApp. Services are delivered by Attia Altaf, an Integrative Psychotherapist trained and certified in the United Kingdom.
These services are available to clients in Pakistan and internationally (including the UK diaspora).
2. Not a Crisis Service
Healing with Attia is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, or are at risk of harming yourself or others, please contact:

3. Eligibility
- Therapy services are primarily intended for adults aged 18 and over.
- For clients under 18, parental or guardian consent is required before sessions commence.
- By booking, you confirm that the information you provide about yourself is accurate.
4. Session Booking and Fees
- Sessions are booked via WhatsApp at +92 328 5694209.
- Current session fees are available on our Services page.
- Payment is due prior to or at the time of each session unless otherwise agreed.
- Fees are subject to change; any changes will be communicated before they take effect.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- 24-hour notice: Cancellations or reschedules with at least 24 hours' notice incur no charge.
- Late cancellation: Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the session fee.
- No-shows: Sessions missed without notice will be charged at the full session rate.
- In exceptional circumstances (illness, emergency), fees may be waived at the therapist's discretion.
6. Confidentiality
All session content is strictly confidential. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is protected and the limited circumstances in which confidentiality may be broken.
7. Limitations of Online Therapy
Online therapy is effective for many conditions but has limitations. You acknowledge that:
- Technology failures (internet outages, platform issues) may occasionally disrupt sessions.
- Online therapy may not be suitable for all presentations, particularly severe mental illness or acute crisis.
- Your therapist may refer you to in-person services or a psychiatrist if clinically indicated.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Attend sessions in a private, quiet location where you can speak freely.
- Arrive on time; sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of late starts.
- Engage honestly and openly to get the most benefit from therapy.
- Inform your therapist of any changes in your mental health status between sessions.
9. Scope of Practice
Attia Altaf is a psychotherapist, not a medical doctor or psychiatrist. She cannot prescribe medication. If medication may be beneficial, you will be referred to a qualified psychiatrist. Blog articles and website content are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including articles, graphics, and session materials — is the intellectual property of Healing with Attia. You may not reproduce or redistribute any content without prior written permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
