Attia Altaf — UK-Certified Psychotherapist in Pakistan

Bringing empathy, clarity, and healing to every home in Pakistan.

Meet Attia Altaf

Integrative Psychotherapist

I am Attia Altaf, a dedicated Integrative Psychotherapist with over 8 years of experience in helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health in Pakistan.

My journey began when I noticed the huge gap in accessible mental health care in our country. Social stigma, traffic, and high costs often prevent people from seeking help.

"Healing with Attia" was born out of a desire to create a safe, non-judgmental digital space where you can share your burden without fear. Whether it's societal pressure, academic stress, or marital issues, I am here to listen.

My approach is integrative — I draw on several evidence-based methods, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and Hara therapy, and tailor them to each person rather than applying a single formula. Trained under the UK’s CPCAB framework, I combine international clinical standards with a deep understanding of Pakistani family, cultural, and religious realities. I work with clients across Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and the wider Pakistani diaspora, in Urdu, English, and Punjabi.

  • PhD in Media and Communication Sciences
  • Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy Counselling (CPCAB-UK)
  • Level 5 Diploma (In Progress)
  • Hara Therapy (Inner Child, Shame, Guilt, Low Self Esteem)
  • Trauma Management
